WestWind Energy has submitted an application to amend the permit for the Moorabool Wind Project.
The amendment specifically seeks to change a permit condition that restricted the placement of wind turbine transformers to inside the the tower of the wind turbine,
and allow for the flexibility to locate the transformer beside each wind turbine tower or within the wind turbine structure.
The amendment application also seeks to apply the updated noise standard (NZS 6808:2010) to the project.
The amendment application does not seek to make any changes to key parameters of the project such as turbine size or locations.
The amendment application is currently before the responsible Minister for determination.

The Victorian Minister for Energy and Resources announced that a planning permit was granted for our Moorabool Wind Project.
The Planning Panel Report and the
Planning Permits
are available at the Department of Planning and Community Development website.
